A NEW MONASTIC COMMUNITY FOR TODAY’S WORLD

INTERSPIRITUAL, INCLUSIVE, INTERGENERATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL

Three Mountains is a diverse New Monastic Community of seekers and explorers, dedicated to spiritual practice, personal growth, and compassionate service in the world. Each of us comes from our own spiritual traditions and practices (or none), with an openness to supporting and learning from one another, finding common ground, transforming spiritually and personally, and working for a better world.

Our vows are a holistic, contemporary set of 10 guidelines distilled from the common principles and aspirations of spiritual life as expressed through all the world’s faith and wisdom traditions supported by modern teachings in science, psychology and art. We call them THE MAP, or The Waypoints, and consider them the foundations for a spiritually focused, transformational, and engaged life. Through an inquiry-based process, they guide us in discovering ourselves and God/Source/Divine/Ultimate Reality and how we want to live in relationship to that Reality – both spiritually and through action in the world.

OUR VOWS — THE MAP

If you are called to a spiritually focused, engaged life of contemplation, learning, community, and contribution in the world, contact us. We host several groups a year to study and practice THE MAP.  We welcome inquiries and are happy to talk with you about your path.

“Three Mountains finally offered me a spiritual home that makes sense after years of searching. It’s welcoming, generous, meaningful, and most importantly, real!”

- Casey F.

“The MAP is a clear and powerful path through the overgrown wilds of modern spirituality. It’s a brilliant synthesis of our great traditions distilled into practical tools for deepening your presence and wonder in your life - right now - no lofty changes necessary!”

-Charles D.
